Our Relationship

Some love stories begin with a spark, others with a quiet pull—ours began with both.

We met through a good friend, Sebastian. The glue to our friend group. He is the reminder that true friendships are timeless and priceless. The friend that will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Amanda was in PT School in Austin, drowning in textbooks and stress. Sebastian told her that he was in town and invited her out to celebrate friends’ birthdays on Sixth Street. Initially, she declined. But something — a quiet pull — told her to go, so she closed her books and stepped into the night.

The moment Amanda walked into the bar, Eddie came straight over, eyes bright and eagerly introduced himself, “Hi, I’m Eddie”. And just like that, the first page of their love story was written. At that point in her life, love wasn’t something she was searching for; her heart was set on her dreams. But God knew better. The coordinates above mark the place where He nudged them toward something greater than they could have planned.

We often reflect at how two lives from such different worlds — Eddie, born across the oceans, and me, from a small town in West Texas— could somehow find their way to each other. That is God and His timing. We have both learned that love has a way of waiting patiently, a way of finding its perfect time.

Our favorite thing to do is to simply exist together. Whether it’s adventuring, laughing with family & friends, or just enjoying the quiet, our love is woven into small moments as much as the grand ones.

From our early twenties to now, we have grown— individually and as one. And through it all, our faith and love remain our foundation, guiding us forward. We can't wait for all that’s still to come.
